This Is Your Community, This Is Your Arts Council
Without people like you, the Mimbres Region Arts Council is an empty stage, a blank canvas, and a work in progress. MRAC is people powered! There are many opportunities to make this community and make this arts council.
We need people;

- see our vision of a thriving community that inspires creativity, enriches education and attracts visitors seeking authentic cultural experiences.

The Mimbres Region Arts Council is dependent on its strong volunteer base to support a diversity of cultural events for our region. Whether it’s taking tickets at shows, designing murals with students, making gourmet chocolates for Chocolate Fantasia, or helping to produce music festivals, there is something for everyone!

Currently, we are seeking candidates with expertise in finances, education, volunteer management, special events and fund raising.
Event and Program Committees
MRAC welcomes ideas, energy and diverse perspectives when planning our numerous events and activities. We need the behind-the-scenes people to ensure our events and activities are successful, consistent with our mission and move the organization closer to our vision.
The Internship Program at the Mimbres Region Arts Council offers hands-on training in a community based arts nonprofit organization. Internships are available in the following subject areas: Marketing, Social Media, Graphic Design, Finance, Education, Event Management, Writing and more. Interns participate in routine activities of MRAC, in addition to working on specific projects.
Interns must submit an intern application form, cover letter, resume, and a letter of recommendation from professor or previous employers.

All space reservations are on a first come, first served basis and a location is not confirmed until a completed application is accepted and payment is received. Applications can be mailed, faxed or emailed using the information below. For questions, please feel free to call the MRAC office during regular business hours.
